PLANET FOOTBALL 360 NEWS UPDATE........

JUVENTUS STORM INTO THE LEAD

Juventus made a sensational start to the delayed Serie A campaign on Sunday by christening their new stadium with a 4-1 win over Parma to charge to the top of the table on goal difference.
Switzerland right-back Stephan Lichtsteiner and Chile midfielder Arturo Vidal made scoring debuts for Juve, while Simone Pepe and Claudio Marchisio also found the net in Antonio Conte’s first league match in charge.

The only sour note for Juventus was the injury-time sending-off of Paolo De Ceglie, whose foul on Sebastian Giovinco was punished by the former Juve forward from the penalty spot.
In contrast, there were shock defeats for Inter Milan and Roma. Inter led 1-0 and 2-1 at Palermo, but went down 4-3, while Roma followed their early exit from the Europa League with a 2-1 home loss to Cagliari.
