Argentina striker Ezequiel Lavezzi, who has been linked with a move to AC Milan in the European winter transfer window, wants to stay with Napoli for the rest of the season.Milan are thought to be looking for a replacement for Italy forward Antonio Cassano, who faces an uncertain future after undergoing heart surgery last week.
But with Napoli still in contention to qualify for the knockout stage of the Champions League for the first time, Lavezzi is keen to remain at the Stadio San Paolo for the time being.
The 26-year-old, who has scored 31 goals in 133 Serie A games since joining Napoli in 2007 from Argentine club San Lorenzo, is also contracted to the Italian side until the summer of 2015.
