PLANETFOOTBALL360 NEWS UPDATE!!!

BARCELONA TITLE HOPES TAKE ANOTHER BLOW ...

barcecelonaBarcelona’s hopes of a fourth successive La Liga title suffered another blow when they were held 1-1 by Espanyol. Cesc Fabregas scored Barca’s 100th goal of the season to give the champions at early lead at the Cornella Stadium but, four minutes from time, Alvaro Vasquez equalised to leave Barcelona five points behind Real Madrid. The reign of Villarreal’s new manager, Francesco Molina, got off to a good start when they took a 2-0 lead against Valencia only to see substitute Artiz Arduiz score twice to level the scores at El Madrigal.
Carlo Ancelotti’s opening game as manager of Paris St Germain almost ended in embarrassment as his millionaires needed an injury time winner from Diego Lugano to overcome Locmine, four divisions below them in the Coupe de la France. Toulouse were the day’s big casualties, losing to Ajaccio.
