Paris St Germain have ended their interest in trying to sign wantaway striker Carlos Tevez from Manchester City.
Despite the French club making the best offer for the Argentine striker, they have failed to agree a deal - with club director, Leonardo, suggesting that Tevez’s demands were too high.
“We will not pay excessively so we stop. It’s over,” he said.
The rebel striker is believed to be holding out for a last-minute transfer to Serie A side AC Milan – after a proposed move to neighbours Inter Milan collapsed in a similar manner.
Tevez was last seen relaxing on a beach in South America after going awol from City.
However, PSG are confident of signing two Brazilian’s - Chelsea defender Alex and former Wolrd Cup winner, Thiago Motta, from AC Milan.
