BAYERN MUST WIN OR LOSE THE TITLE...
Bayern Munich can ‘kiss the title goodbye’ if they lose at Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, the club’s chief executive, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said. In the biggest game in the Bundesliga for years Bayern, who are chasing a treble of the European Cup, the German title and the German Cup, go to the Westfalenstadion three points behind the champions. Should Bayern win, they will go above Dortmund on goal difference. However, Jurgen Klopp’s side are unbeaten in 23 games and if they can merely draw with Bayern, they will be very close to retaining their title. The match has attracted enormous interest. The Westfalenstadion holds 80,000 spectators and Dortmund have had 450,000 requests for tickets for a match that will be broadcast to 200 countries.
