After several weeks of incessant rumours, Luka Modric has finally arrived in the Spanish capital to undergo the traditional medical and formalize the transfer. The 26-year-old left Tottenham to sign a five-year contracy with Real Madrid for an amount, rumours say, of 35 million euros.
Today at the press conference, the Croatian midfielder did not miss a chance to praise his new Spanish club: "It is an honour to be able to evolve in the best club in the world. [...] There is the best coach in the world [Jose Mourinho] and the best players." He also showed his ambition to win trophies, including the Champions League.
