PLANET FOOTBALL 360 NEWS UPDATE.....

WILL NASRI LEAVE ARSENAL FOR RIVALS UNITED ? .................

Samir Nasri was arguably Arsenal’s player of the season but the Gunners’ failure to win silveware could see him leave for their greatest rivals.

The Frenchman is in the final year of his contract and Arsene Wenger has indicated he will sell before letting him leave on a free transfer – with Manchester United showing interest.

The former Marseille player would represent good value for United as a possible alternative to Aston Villa’s Ashley Young.

Arsenal will fight to keep Nasri but a sixth season without a trophy is said to have left the talented forward disillusioned – while United’s Patrice Evra has sent out a thinly veiled message to his countryman.

Evra, who has previously referred to Arsenal as a ‘training centre’, told L’Equipe: “Little Prince (Nasri’s nickname), if you want to become king, you know you should go.”

With Cesc Fabregas also expected to finally leave for Barcelona, losing Nasri would be a serious blow to Arsene Wenger – especially if he goes on to win trophies under Alex Ferguson.

It seems Arsenal are paying the price for lacking a winning mentality.......
