| REAL MADRID WILL APPEAL RAMOS RED CARD ... |
Real Madrid defender, Sergio Ramos, has revealed that the club will be appealing his red card against Barcelona in the Copa del Rey.
The Spain international was sent off for the thirteenth time in his Real Madrid career after picking up a second caution for an aerial challenge on Sergio Busquets.
However, the decision seemed harsh and Ramos was seen sarcastically shaking hands with the officials as he left the field.
The 25-year-old defender took to Twitter to confirm the club would be making an appeal: "I am happy that the club are appealing my second yellow card because even though some don't stop rolling around (on the turf), I didn't touch him (Busquets)".
Barcelona midfielder Busquets has a history of play-acting and this is only the latest controversy to surround the El Clasico rivalry.
