PLANET FOOTBALL 360 NEWS UPDATE........

REAL MADRID,BETIS SEVILLE, VALENCIA ON TOP OF LA LIGA

Real Betis again relied on a late goal from Ruben as they moved alongside Real Madrid and Valencia at the top of the Primera Liga on Sunday.
After the 30-year-old striker won Betis’ opening match of the season at Granada with a goal in the dying minutes, he repeated his heroics at home to Mallorca by converting Benat’s corner.
Betis, who were in the Segunda Division last season, now lie third on goal difference behind leaders Real and second-placed Valencia, and this trio are two points in front of Barcelona, Real Sociedad, Sevilla and Osasuna.
Osasuna also won on Sunday, 2-1 at home to Sporting Gijon – as did Espanyol at home to Athletic Bilbao.
The day’s two other Liga fixtures - Racing Santander-Levante and Rayo Vallecano-Real Zaragoza - finished goalless.
